’Tis the season to be merry, gay, and just a little bit unholy.
Peaches Christ returns to Davies Symphony Hall on Thursday, December 17 for another gloriously outrageous edition of Holiday Gaiety, her festive holiday spectacular with conductor and co-conspirator Edwin Outwater and the San Francisco Symphony.
Part symphonic celebration, part drag extravaganza, and part grown-up holiday variety show, Holiday Gaiety brings together festive music, comedy, spectacle, special guests, and the kind of seasonal misbehavior you definitely won’t find at your grandmother’s Christmas concert.
This year’s concert is headlined by country star Orville Peck and also features Frankie Fictitious, Creatine Price, Katya Smirnoff-Skyy, Sister Roma, and the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus. The musical program is still to be announced.
