Grab your cup of ambition! Peaches Christ is heading to San Francisco’s historic Castro Theatre on Sunday, October 11, for a very special tribute to the life, talent, and values of the one-and-only Dolly Parton.
Peaches will open the afternoon with a drag homage before the audience settles in for Colin Higgins’s beloved 1980 comedy 9 to 5, starring Dolly Parton, Jane Fonda, and Lily Tomlin as three coworkers who decide they’ve had enough of their sexist boss. It’s a sharp, hilarious workplace revenge fantasy—and one of Dolly’s greatest gifts to pop culture.
A percentage of ticket proceeds will be donated to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. Doors open at 2:00 PM, and the show begins at 3:00 PM.
