Celebrate the life, talent, and values of the one-of-a-kind Dolly Parton at The Castro Theatre. Peaches Christ opens the afternoon with a drag tribute before a screening of Colin Higgins’s beloved 1980 comedy 9 to 5, starring Dolly Parton, Jane Fonda, and Lily Tomlin as three coworkers who turn the tables on their sexist boss. A percentage of ticket proceeds will benefit Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. Doors open at 2:00 PM; the show begins at 3:00 PM.
